Katrina Sanders attended the same perio lectures as dental students, invested in CE on her own dime, and returned to her practice eager to share what she learned. But too often, the response was: “That’s cute, but this is how we’ve always done it.”
Her message is simple: hygienists are educated professionals who deserve to be recognized as valued members of the clinical team.
